“Passie voor vakmanschap is de basis voor de ontwikkeling van onze traditionele Taiwanese lantaarns. Voor deze speciale DORIS for HKLIVING traditionele lantaarn hebben we een gedeelde passie voor design, mode, prints, vintage en vakmanschap gecombineerd. Deze gedeelde passie heeft geresulteerd in een prachtige co- creatie met DORIS vintage, een Nederlandse vintage fashion jager. Samen creëerden we een bijzondere collectie, genaamd DORIS voor HKLIVING. Blikvanger van deze co-gecreëerde collectie is de handgemaakte lantaarn met een DORIS vintage bloemenprint: een waar kunstwerk en traditioneel vakmanschap.Onze traditionele Taiwanese lantaarns zijn gemaakt in de laatste traditionele ambachtswerkplaats in de bergen van Taiwan. Een arbeider maakt het raamwerk met lokaal Makino-bamboe, een ander past de stof toe, waardoor het frame extra sterk wordt, en tenslotte vouwt een derde ambachtsman de stof rond het frame, waardoor het stuk bij elkaar komt. Een ervaren kunstenaar schildert elk item afzonderlijk, met de hand. HKLIVING traditionele Taiwanese lantaarn een mooie en authentieke toevoeging aan je huis. “

Deze lantaarns worden handgemaakt in de laatste traditionele werkplaats in de bergen van Taiwan.
Elke lamp wordt hand beschilderd door een lokale Taiwanese kunstenaar. Elke beschildering en lamp is dan ook uniek van kleur en patroon.
Geen lamp is dan ook hetzelfde, maar een uniek exemplaar, dit zie je aan de twee verschillende productfoto’s.
